Tang Shaoyang had a bad feeling that Arneel might be related to Artrus. It was supported by the fact that he summoned Arneel in the Artrus' domain. Arneel might be someone close to Artrus.

If that was the case, he must force the contract on Arneel. Even then, Arneel might not listen to him with the forceful contract. That meant he could only sacrifice Arneel which was something he did not want to do.

Arneel looked at Zara and Avyn, and it was hard to see the calamity's expression since she did not have a face. Then she looked at Tang Shaoyang again. "What do you mean by you absorbed Artrus? Can you tell me more details about what happened?"

Tang Shaoyang furrowed his brow. He did not like wasting his time telling her a story, but he thought that a mutual contract might give him a chance. He explained what happened in a short version.

"I see... Artrus is dead and you summoned his spirit just like me. He tried to take over your body, but you absorbed him instead and inherited some of his power..." Arneel thoughtfully nodded, and the fire, which was her body, calmed down a little bit.

"Knowing Artrus is dead, dead. I don't want to establish a contract with you anymore. The reason I became a spirit was to kill Artrus, and he was already dead. You have avenged me indirectly. So there's no reason for me to exist anymore, my anger has been quelled knowing how he died."

Tang Shaoyang listened without interrupting Arneel. The misunderstanding cleared, but there was another problem with the contract. Arneel was someone with a grudge against Artrus, and it was not a surprise what Artrus had done to him.

"How about this, we will set the time for the contract. I know most spirits don't set a time when they establish a contract, but again, there's no reason for me to exist anymore. However, I still want to repay you, so what about if we form a twenty-year contract? You will release me from the contract after twenty years."

Tang Shaoyang frowned deeper when he heard the terms because he had a better deal in his hand. "You are quite knowledgeable for a spirit with no experience beforehand."

Arneel shook her head. "You are not the first to summon me. Four individuals managed to summon me. My first two masters were killed by Artrus for trying to fulfill the contract, and the last two were killed by the Nirvana Alliance without getting a chance to pursue Artrus."

"Then you should be aware that I can force the contract upon you without agreeing with your terms."

Arneel immediately glanced at Avyn and Zara. She sighed, "You are the strongest Spirit Contractor compared to my previous masters without a doubt. I can see that you have spirits that are stronger than me. So why do you still need me if you have stronger spirits than me, not just one, but two of them."

"Let's do it!"

Arneel agreed to it immediately before Tang Shaoyang changed his mind. Her figure turned into a crimson orb and entered Tang Shaoyang's foreheads.

[You have established a contract with Archaic Spirit, Arneel the Inferno Calamity!]

[Wow! This is a nice place!] Arneel's voice rang in his head right after. She had been in a void for an unknown time, so it was a nice change of scenery when she entered Tang Shaoyang's spirit world.

"Two hundred years? What about two hundred years?" Zara asked after the contract was finalized. They heard Tang Shaoyang's voice, but they could not hear Arneel's as she spoke directly into his head.

"The length of the contract, and she is Artrus' enemy, so we don't need to use force on her." He explained briefly as he turned toward the next area of sacrifice. He proceeded with the next summoning and muttered. "I hope there will be another commander from the Hurakan Legion. That would be ideal."

After talking about the enemy he must fight, he realized that he might need people like Mathias and Nikolas. He would be taking over their world, and he needed a capable commander to help him. If he could resurrect them later, then he would have them to increase his army from the conquered world. That was a plan for the future, but he needed to be prepared for that.

The sacrifice poofed into the black smoke, similar to the first one. He had a bad feeling about the second one.

"Where am I!?" A stern voice rang from the smoke, and Gianni could feel a connection with Tang Shaoyang. He followed the connection and got out of the black smoke before the smoke dissipated.

Gianni paused at the sight of Tang Shaoyang and the two women, scanning them over. He looked at their features closely, and weirdly he did not feel the aura from the man, but he felt an overwhelming aura from the two women.

"Are you the one behind The Genesis Emperor?" He questioned the man.

"This one is a newbie for sure..." Tang Shaoyang muttered as he could tell the spirit was clueless about what happened.
